Umajalanta cabins: a break in the dinosaurs’ land

This Torotoro community tourism initiative provides a complete service, which allows you to enjoy local gastronomy and a stay in a place surrounded by impressive mountain formations.

Located in the Huayra Q’asa community, Torotoro National Park (Potosf department), in southern Bolivia, the Umajalanta Cabins offer a rustic and cozy atmosphere, surrounded by a mountainous landscape and the Garrapatal canyon. Here you can enjoy a break from the daily routine, accompanied by natural wonder and dinosaurs’ traces, the largest animals that existed on the planet.

Local community members offer lodging and food services, along with different Torotoro National Park tours. One can venture deep into caverns, hike along paths that show dinosaurs’ footprints and admire impressive canyons and waterfalls, among other attractions.
